VidaGIS

VidaGIS is a Joint Venture Company between Vietnam and Denmark specialized in management solutions based GIS (Geographic Information System), and other products, services in the field of GIS. VidaGIS has established since 2003 based on the tightly cooperation between Cartographic Publishing House map (BANDO) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, DanWater group and the Industrialization Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) of Denmark. At present, this rate of capital contribution is 51% of BANDO, and DanWater accounts for 49%.

- Cartographic Publishing House (NXB) is a Vietnamese state owned enterprise under the Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment. BANDO has a full range of the most modern equipments and production lines for map construction, printing and publishing. More than 600 people are working for BANDO in 3 branch offices and one branch in Ho Chi Minh City. BANDO has currently been prestigious and robust company for map printing in Vietnam.

The drainage companies manage a vast asset including underground wastewater pipelines, devices such as pumps, valves; reservoir, treatment basin…The management of assets; operation and maintenance would be very difficult without the support of management and operation tools. Especially, the information stored accurately, updated position and current status of the pipeline system; manholes ... will ensure a well plan and unify between wastewater systems and transportation systems, clean water supply, communications and power.

On 30/12/2008, DanWater Malaysia Company and VidaGIS Company have signed an agreement regarding DanWater Malaysia is the integrated system (System Integrator) for WDMS system, in which DanWater can provide the WDMS software and consulting services, development related services for the VidaGIS Company in Malaysia market.

DanWater Malaysia, represented by Mr. Rune Pedersen – General Director, is a joint venture company between Hatimuda Sdn Bhd Company - Malaysia and Watertech Company - Denmark, the joint venture was established in 2005.

At present, DanWater Malaysia is a leading company in Malaysia in water supply consultancy, water loss reduction, groundwater exploitation and minerals.
